My Christmas Dream

I Want to Spend Christmas in the Philippines!

I’ve been here in the United States for almost two years, I celebrated Christmas Season twice since I came last December of 2016 in California. So this year im planning to celebrate Christmas in my Hometown.

In the Philippines, Christmas is the longest season, we started celebrating Christmas by the month of September, we called it “Ber Months,” until 3 Kings Christmas or Feast of the Three Kings. Filipinos started decorating to their homes and offices during Christmas Season. Christmas decors you can see everywhere on the street and especially in the malls, where you can see the big colorful Christmas trees and bright lights.

People go from house to house singing Christmas carols. I remembered during my childhood days we went caroling with my friends. My most unforgettable experienced those days we are very excited to visit our neighborhood houses with different Christmas decorations.

10 Reasons Why I Should Spend Christmas in the Philippines:

1. Simbang Gabi

2. Family Gatherings

3. Christmas Caroling

4. Gift- Giving Tradition

5. Christmas Celebrations with family and friends

6. Christmas Songs
